Our Mission

Young Jewish Professionals of Indianapolis aims to build a community of young Jews through social events, networking opportunities and lectures.

The Jewish Plug

All of us are unique and so are our needs and wants. YJP strives to provide a diverse selection of offerings, whether you’re seeking a friend, a spouse, inspiration or some chicken soup.

Making A Scene

The Indianapolis Jewish population is growing, but is still much smaller than the New Yorks and Los Angeleses of the world. So the imperative to create a vibrant community is vivid. We’ve been fortunate to have met hundreds of Jewish young adults excited to materialize this goal.

A Jew Is A Jew

YJP chooses to emphasize the aspects we have in common with each other to foster a more whole unity. Political affiliations and religious practice, though freely discussed among friends, are not requisites for acceptance.

“Each individual has the capacity to build communities and endow communities with life… so that every community member becomes a source of inspiration.”
